Eeek! We were so surprised when we saw that the gorgeous Derpy Pink Blogger had nominated us for the Lovely Blog Award! So, thank you! We’re so ecstatic that within the first month of starting this blog we’ve gotten this recognition and it means so much to us! So, without any more rambling, let’s get right into it!
- Thank the person who nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
- List the rules and display the award.
- Add 7 facts about yourself.
- Nominate 5 – 15 blogs for the award, and comment on one of their posts to let them know.
Here are seven facts about ourselves:
Kavi: I started off my sophomore year at college without knowing how to boil water (and I was living off-campus!). Now, I am proud to say that I can make a full three course meal (with limitations, of course) and I have been told that it tastes good!
Thavi: I love to cook and bake and it has been that way since I was quite young. I used to watch my grandmother and my mom cook and I picked up how to cook on my own. I always used to help them bake cakes for all our family birthdays and that made me realized how much I love it. Now I’m the one in the family doing all the baking!
Kavi: I like to think of myself as a very creative person! I love working with Photoshop, doing DIY projects, and just simply conveying an idea through an artistic lens (which might be why I am a marketing major!)
Thavi: Nutrition and fitness is very important. Eating a well balanced healthy meal and heading to the gym is a part of my normal routine. I think taking care of your self is a must. So trying out new healthy recipes or new exercises is something I like doing.
Kavi: I am a very emotional person (sometimes, it’s not a good thing). By this, I don’t mean opening the flood gates, but I have teared up during every single (yes, every) episode of Grey’s Anatomy. I even teared up when Anna froze in Frozen! By the same token, I get ridiculously happy/excited for the smallest things too!
Thavi: I am a very positive, caring person, who loves helping others. I am quite level headed to the point lots of people say I have mastered the “motherly figure”.
T&K: We’re the partners in crime in our family! Whenever we get together (which is quite a lot), we always team up and go do our own thing. I’d say we’re the coolest members of our family, but we might be a tad bias…just a tad!
Once again, thank you so much!
